Your First Appointment

Since first-time clients often wonder about being unclothed in a massage session, I like to put them at ease by letting them know that draping is used at all times during a massage session.

On your first visit, you will be given a short medical history form to complete and ample time will be provided to discuss your session goals. We will also discuss how much pressure you are comfortable with in the session.

Reflexology

Reflexology dates back to the early Egyptians about 2,330 BC. It is a science that deals with reflex areas in the hands and feet that correspond to all the organs and glands in the body. Granular accumulations of waste matter concentrate around these reflex points in the form of calcium deposits and/or uric acid. Reflexologists work on these reflex points to break down these deposits, free the energy flowing through these points, and allow blood supply to flow, thus restoring health.

Reflexology can reduce stress; improve the circulatory system; increase blood flow; strengthen the lymphatic system; fight disease; and reduce headaches & constipation.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is an ancient healing art that uses the sense of smell because it is so powerful. Pleasant fragrances can bring back happy memories, relax, rejuvenate, or calm you. I use 100% pure, essential oils. Because not all essential oils are 100% pure as stated on the bottle, I verify from my distributors the purity of the oils I purchase.

Because essential oils are very potent, I dilute most of mine with a "carrier" oil as most essential oils would cause irritation if they were used on the skin in their pure form. Care should always be taken when using essential oils.
